Hello, I’m Dr Darlene Zangara. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I am currently the executive director for the Minnesota Commission of Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing. I am going to describe myself. I love writing and I am hoping someday I will become a published author.

Hello, my name is Jonathan Bucki. I’m a partner with the Dendros Group. I use he, him pronouns. I’m a white man, wearing a dark blue shirt, with glasses and a beard. It’s been a pleasure to get to know the interpreting community and the Deaf, DeafBlind and hard of hearing communities in Minnesota. I’ve been the project lead, along with an awesome team of other consultants who supported the Commission’s work in Interpreting Forward. One fun fact about myself is that my life partner is Koko Chino, who I met while she was working at Gallaudet University.

Hello, my name is Jer Loudenback, and this is my name sign. There is a black background, and I’m wearing a black shirt. My skin is white. My pronouns are he/him/his.

To describe my face, I have gray hair on the sides of my head with a white and a gray mustache, and I have on orange and gray glasses. I am a retired teacher, and I have many years of experience. 

Now, I’m involved in part time and volunteer work for lots of different organizations around the community that I really enjoy. A fun fact about me is that I’ve been to all 50 states! I also work for the National Theater of the Deaf.

Hello, my name is Albert Walla, and this is my sign name. There is a black background, and I am wearing a black long sleeve shirt. My pronouns are he/him/his. 

I am a white person with gray hair on the sides of my head and I have a gray goatee beard. I do have a bald spot running across the middle of my head, and my face is shaved except for the facial hair. 

I taught for 44 years, and am now retired from that position. I am currently working as a CDI (Certified Deaf Interpreter).

 A fun fact about me is that when I was young, I was an elite swimmer in the World Games for the Deaf, kind of like the Deaf Olympics, during the 1969 and 1973 events. I won several medals!
